About the Job:

As a Web Developer at Glacier Payments, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining internal applications for our employees and external apps for our valued sales partners and merchants. Glacier Payments is a leading credit card Independent Sales Organization (ISO) that provides tailored payment processing solutions to businesses nationwide. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development team and stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain responsive and user-friendly web applications
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing applications, ensuring optimal performance and user experience
• Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in web development and share knowledge with the team
• Contribute to the creation of technical documentation and assist in maintaining project timelines

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in web development for remote employees, 1-3 years for in-person employees, with a strong understanding of web development principles
• Strong proficiency in Typescript, with experience in object-oriented programming and design patterns
• Experience with Vue or other JavaScript frameworks, leveraging their capabilities to build scalable and modular applications
• Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with the ability to create responsive and accessible web interfaces

Preferred Requirements

• Familiarity with Express and NodeJS is a plus but not a mandatory requirement
• Experience with API design, Webhooks, and Database best practices
